Do you have a desire to create music?

The spark of desire is the perfect starting point!

But what comes next can be a challenging.

Setting up your home studio. Purchasing equipment. Becoming familiar with your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) Using chords and developing chord progressing. Writing for horns, strings, piano, bass, etc. Arranging the music. Building motifs. Expanding your creativity.

I’m Piotrek. As, a boy, I was classically trained in piano beginning lessons at age 10. Since I was teenager, I have had a desire to understand music structure, harmony movement, big band composition, and jazz improvisation. Joining Military College in Gdansk, Poland allowed me to study not only French horn but expose me to big band, jazz, and bass playing. After earning 3 degrees in French Horn, Piano, and Bass and gaining academic knowledge in jazz harmony, arrangement, voice study, trombone, trumpet, I wanted more. Music was my passion and my life!

After 8 years of playing jazz in Europe, I moved to Boston in year of 2000. Right after I received the scholarship from Berklee College of Music, I surrounded myself with great teachers, talented musicians and lots of gigs throughout New England. I always wanted to know how to write instrumentation and arrange for string quartets, horn sections, and acoustic sounds of the jazz quintet.

Latin Jazz is my most recent discovery. After eight trips to Cuba (so far) and playing music with local talent I finally discovered and brought back a new sound that combines my jazz background and with latin influences. RoyalComposer.com stands for everything I admire about music. Over the past several years, I overcame many of the challenges associated with the home studio, composing and creating my art through music. I’ve mastered the art of creating professional music at home. I’m here to share the process, all the secrets inside and out, with YOU! Let’s start the journey of creation together.
